Responsibilities:Â

• Provide individual brief treatment & support to clients & their families in order to assist in developing coping skills for behavioral management & controlling psychiatric symptoms as prescribed in the treatment plan
• Facilitate support group sessions
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to develop & implement treatment plans via intakes & assessments, skills training, resource linkage, attending medication evaluation & psychiatric appointments, documentation of recovery & progress, and maintaining clinical records
• Facilitate & provide assistance with psychiatric rehabilitation related assessments, interventions, and services that facilitate the client’s recovery & rehabilitation goals
• Utilize Stages of Change theory, Motivational Enhancement techniques, and Rehabilitation Goal Readiness & Development Technology & Process to facilitate maximum potential for rehabilitation goal Attainment.
• Become familiar with and provide consultation on client subsidy work incentives & programs, such as the impact of work on SSDI, SSI, Medicaid, and housing subsidies
• Provide assistance to clients with completing documentation, administrative tasks, and processes related to obtaining employment, accessing educational programs, and other community organizations (ie: completing job applications, financial aid packages, etc.)
• Assist client & rehabilitative specialists with required job, educational, and social/leisure development services & activities
• Provide interventions & services designed to assist the client with obtaining satisfying social leisure opportunities & community activities that maximize the client’s level of community integration, as well as assist the client in obtaining & maintaining recovery promoting natural support systems & peer relationships

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field, required
• Licensed Independent Practitioner (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT), required
• Experience working in the mental health field
• Valid driver’s license

Shift & Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Location:  Positions available in Providence, RI; Pawtucket, RI; Johnston, RI; and Charlestown, RI
