POSITION TITLE: Speech Language Pathologist, Early Intervention
PROGRAM: Early Intervention
FULL TIME: 40 hours per week
SALARY RANGE: $ $63,566.00 – $79,036.00
Summary: To provide speech/language pathology services to infants and toddlers including screenings, evaluations, assessments and treatment services in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Rhode Island Early Intervention Certification Standards. We are currently hiring a Speech Language Pathologist with the opportunity to work either full-time, part-time, or as an independent contractor. Our aim is to provide diverse opportunities to accommodate different preferences and availability. We welcome applicants with experience in any of these capacities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Masters Degree from a Board approved school of Speech Language Pathology and meet requirements for licensing by the RI Department of Health.
- Minimum of one year experience working with infants and toddlers in natural environments.
- Current RI drivers license.
- Current auto insurance.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires residential and community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:
- Travel to and from community locations and residential site locations, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
- Ability to utilize a computer and Electronic Medical Record to complete documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to push or pull 10 lbs or more
- Ability to pick up 10 lbs or more
- Ability to be trained in and implement de-escalation techniques utilizing Handle with Care when necessary.
