POSITION TITLE: Director of Training and Talent Development
PROGRAM: Training
FULL TIME: 40 hours per week
SALARY RANGE: $66,560.00 – $82,759.00
Summary: To provide overall supervision and implementation of the FSRI training program. To identify, coordinate, support, schedule, and manage trainings. To build a robust internal and external training and employee development program. To support programs in meeting their regulatory requirements and training/employee development goals.
Qualifications:
- Responsible for overseeing and chairing the organization’s training committee
- Research, schedule, coordinate, and support external trainings, adhering to budget and curriculum requirements
- Provide support to programs in meeting their regulatory requirements
- Assist programs to set employee competency, training, and development goals, and assist the programs in measuring, tracking, and quality improvement regarding such goals
- Conduct internal trainings, including at New Employee Orientation, and as needed
- Become certified to conduct such internal training (specific trainings to be determined but may include CPR/1st Aid and others) as may be necessary for FSRI to reach its internal goals and external training requirements
- Complete an annual FSRI Training Plan
- Partner with the QM department to evaluate the quality, effectiveness, and relevancy of trainings and the FSRI Training Plan
- Collect and provide materials as needed to support trainings (both conducted by and for FSRI)
- Partner with Advancement/Communications to share information regarding training, utilizing the Intranet and other communications tools
- Develop a quarterly FSRI training report
- Assess training needs based on conversation with employees, surveys, and in concert with leadership members
- Provide operational support and guidance to the Help Division as assigned
- Maintain training records as required
- Partner with Human Resources regarding New Employee Orientation and HR-related documentation and training needs
- Supervise staff and interns as may be assigned from time to time
- Assist FSRI in meeting Council on Accreditation standards for training and supervision
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time, or as duties above may develop
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Willingness and capability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as organizational goals require
- Demonstrated excellence in communications and teamwork; prior training experience valued but not required for the right candidate.
- Demonstrated record of commitment to FSRI’s mission, vision, and values.
- Willingness and ability to become trained as a trainer in a variety of key organizational initiatives/requirements (which may be defined and may change over time)

- Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
