Our Community Support Program is looking for a Licensed Masters Level Clinician.

The clinician plays a key role in facilitating positive change for adults facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. As part of this program, Masters Level Clinicians collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in the community as they grow, heal, and recover.

Job Duties:

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Participate in goal-setting and recovery planning activities.
  • Facilitate the development of coping skills.
  • Deliver psychoeducation to clients.
  • Create and implement safety plans as needed.

  • Possesses knowledge of a variety of psychotherapy techniques and modalities.
  • Exhibits multicultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ethical and confidentiality guidelines relevant to behavioral health practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based practices in behavioral health care.
  • Preferred experience in community behavioral health services.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic health records and strong computer skills.

Education/Licensing Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • An active RI provisional or independent mental health license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance.
