Our Community Support Program is looking for a Licensed Masters Level Clinician.
The clinician plays a key role in facilitating positive change for adults facing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. As part of this program, Masters Level Clinicians collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in the community as they grow, heal, and recover.
Job Duties:
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
- Participate in goal-setting and recovery planning activities.
- Facilitate the development of coping skills.
- Deliver psychoeducation to clients.
- Create and implement safety plans as needed.

- Exhibits multicultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of ethical and confidentiality guidelines relevant to behavioral health practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based practices in behavioral health care.
- Preferred experience in community behavioral health services.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic health records and strong computer skills.

Education/Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- An active RI provisional or independent mental health license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance.
