PROGRAM:Trauma Loss & Children Services

FULL TIME: 40 hours per week

Summary: Works to create a welcoming environment for clients and supports clients in accessing services. Willing to cross-train with FSRI Hope Street receptionists. Able to float between multiple sites. Supports data collection and outcome measures for the CCBHC program. Answers the telephone line, transfers calls and greets clients, collects copayments, schedules appointments, verifies insurance, and tracks authorizations. Flexible schedule to include evening hours when needed. 

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation skills required.
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of third-party payers.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook are required.
  • Ability to travel to various locations if necessary; possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required.
  • Bachelor’s level education or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Medical Office experience is a must.
  • Participation in semi-annual and annual employee performance review process, including development and review of professional/program goals and objectives
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required.
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
