Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Maternal Mental Health
This free 2-hour e-learning program is designed for providers and students seeking knowledge and skills related to cultural competency, cultural humility, person-centered care, and combating implicit bias across the continuum of maternal health care. Program is accredited for 2 hours for physicians, physician assistances, nurse practitioners, nurses, certified nurse midwives, and certified midwives. Other professionals, as well as students, may earn a statement of participation.
Opioid Use Disorder: Harm Reduction and Pharmacotherapy
This training focuses on diagnostic criteria for opioid use disorder (OUD), treatment options for OUD, and harm reduction strategies. This program is being offered by URI’s Office of Continuing Education for the Health Professions & supported by funding from the RI EOHHS Workforce Transformation Program.
Capacity Building Opportunity for Healthcare Providers to Prevent and Treat Substance Use Disorders–Addiction Treatment Clinical Skills for Healthcare Providers

Suicide Prevention Resource Centeris offering an  online course, “Counseling on Access to Lethal Means” (CALM).
Access to lethal means can determine whether a person who is suicidal lives or dies. This course explains why means restriction is an important part of a comprehensive approach to suicide prevention. This has been approved for 2 NBCC Clock Hours and 2 NASW continuing education units.
