What we collect
This website does not require an account, and apart from Google Analytics, which counts visits (below), it does not use tracking cookies. It uses no advertising cookies. If you send us a message or a training request, we receive the information you type into the form so we can reply to you.
Forms
Form submissions are delivered to SUMHLC staff by email. Please don't include private health information in a form. We use what you send only to respond to you and do not sell or share it.
Training alerts
The TRAIN ED pages include a sign-up form for training alerts, provided by Constant Contact, the service we use to send our emails. If you fill it in, your name and email address go to Constant Contact and are added to our TRAIN ED list. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.
The form loads only on the TRAIN ED pages. To block spam it uses Google reCAPTCHA, which is covered by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and Constant Contact's servers may set a security cookie that filters out automated traffic. Neither is used for advertising.
Visitor statistics
We use Google Analytics to see how the website is used: which pages are visited, how people found us (for example from a search engine or one of our emails), and the kind of device and browser and the approximate location (city or region) they visit from. It also counts when someone clicks a training's Register button, signs up for training alerts, requests a group training or follows a TRAIN ED calendar, but not what they enter. It sets a cookie so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
Google Analytics doesn't keep your IP address, and we don't send it your name, your email address or anything you type into this site's search boxes or forms. Its advertising features are off, so it isn't used to show you ads or to build advertising profiles. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it doesn't load at all. Google's handling of this information is covered by its Privacy Policy.
Other websites
Our resource library links to other organizations' websites, and donations are processed by PayPal. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
